Along with works of personal inspiration, throughout my career I have completed various commissions for religious
congregations, especially for this institution, as a Marist Brother.
When I paint a religious work, I seek to convey a simple message to the intended audience. This doesn't mean abandoning
an artistic intention, but rather leveraging the resources of art to enhance the message. Like religion, art is a journey
in search of the essential.
